The BUS2 Community, made up of players from the building, training and employment sectors, has drawn up 17 proposals for national actions on a regional scale, the fruit of extensive consultation in collaborative workshops between stakeholders, to meet several of the sector's challenges :

  • To define national proposals for action, providing a general, shared and objective vision, as well as an associated action plan. The action plan will detail the resources needed to meet national targets for renovation and new construction by 2030. The need to mobilize building sector professionals in sufficient quality and quantity, on the one hand to make the ecological transition that will enable us to achieve the European Union's 2030 targets (Fit for 55) and the carbon neutrality target for 2050 set by the French government, and on the other hand to meet the need for high-performance renovations.

  • To provide solutions to the challenges of maintaining the workforce and recruitment in the sector : gradual decline in the number of professionals due to retirements among other factors, recruitment pressures to meet market needs, integration of energy and ecological issues into building qualifications and training, coordination of trades and know-how, particularly on worksites.

« We see this project, co-sponsored by ADEME, as a milestone on the road to jobs and skills, in order to meet a broader ambition: a just transition to carbon neutrality by 2050. »
