Reducing CO2 emissions from buildings has become essential if we are to achieve our climate objectives. That's why it's vital to take greater account of environmental and performance issues in new construction and renovation if we are to make the transition to a resource-efficient, climate-friendly future. With this in mind, BUS2 has mobilised all those involved in the construction and renovation of buildings to work towards a common strategy for high performance buildings: the State, local and regional authorities, the building industry, education, training and employment.

The BUS2 project has therefore been designed around 4 major challenges:

  1. Taking an overview of the building industry over the last 10 years.

  2. Establishing a shared diagnosis with the stakeholders based on a scenario to be achieved by 2030 in line with the "Fit for 55" objectives.

  3. Identify the trades and skills needed to accelerate the energy transition in the building sector.

  4. Co-construct proposals for action with the various players in the building and training sectors.
