The proposals for guidelines and actions formulated by the BUS2 community in response to recruitment issues, the integration of energy and ecological issues in building training, and the coordination of trades on worksites, concern the national and/or regional level and are, for the most part, inspired by tried and tested good practice in the field.

Cambrésis
  • Promotion of 2 complementary support schemes: the Hauts-de-France Region's "Pass Rénovation" and the Régie régionale du Service Public de l'Efficacité Energétique (SPEE).

    --> Action 1-1 - Helping local authorities to set up third-party financing companies (STF) by distributing the SERAFIN Association guide. 

  • Creation of a "ressourcerie" aimed at integrating jobseekers through the recovery of building waste.

    --> Action 1-6 - Facilitating the re-use of products and materials (new construction and renovation): local engineering and training for professionals.


    Cotentin 
  • Training "Eco-construction workers" (11 months).

    --> Action 1-5 - Facilitating the use of bio-sourced and low-carbon products and materials in new construction and renovation: clauses in public procurement contracts and training.


    Aix-Marseille

    --> Complementary action : Implement a tool for analysing forward-looking data (observatory), markets, jobs and skills (2024-2030) and monitoring training provision, in order to observe changes in the various construction markets and provide better support for businesses.
     

Cotentin 
  • Train female instructors and raise awareness among contractors of the importance of appropriate infrastructure on worksites. 

    --> Action 2-4 - Increasing the number of women on worksites.


Aix-Marseille
  • Communicating a positive image of the sector, using fun discovery tools tailored to each audience and testimonials from professionals. 

    --> Action 2-1 - Launch a communication campaign, tailored to the target audience, to change the image of the building trades.

  • A 100% women's workshop to test one trade/day on a technical platform, and to train middle management on building sites to manage mixed teams. 

    --> Action 2-4 - Increasing the number of women on worksites.

  • Acculturation and updating of all employment and training prescribers on the technical skills and soft skills required for each job.  

    --> Action 2-5 - Strengthen the role of prescribers who guide jobseekers in the construction sector.

  • Survey on the characteristics of people leaving the sector and offer of services aimed at limiting departures due to unfitness for work & establish contact between sellers and buyers and provide support for business start-ups/takeovers.

    --> Action 2-6 - Objectivise the benefits of long-term career support through a large-scale socio-economic study.


In the 3 regions (Cambrésis, Cotentin, Aix-Marseille)
  • Workshops to discover 3-4 trades through hands-on experience, on equipped lorries or on technical platforms.

    --> Action 2-2 - Encourage young people to take up vocations through practical experience.

Cambrésis
  • Distribute a charter to private individuals, highlighting very small businesses that have trained their teams in the skills required for high-performance renovation.

--> Action 3-2 - Encourage companies to upgrade their skills for high-performance renovation via training clauses or professional networks.


Cotentin
  • Develop the Normandy region's "eco-energy cheque" scheme by increasing the number of "BBC renovators". 

--> Action 3-2 - Encourage companies to upgrade their skills for high-performance renovation via training clauses or professional networks.

  • Continue the ACTIMMO programme to bring the property value chain into the energy renovation market. 

--> Action 3-3 - Raise the skills of property professionals in the field of Ecological Transition: banks, estate agents, notaries, brokers, property managers, etc.

  • Definition of training content to encourage the transition from new build to renovation.

--> Action 3-5 - Help those specialising in construction to make the transition to renovation: share feedback from companies as part of a Réno Tour and prepare the retraining of professionals.


 Aix-Marseille
  • There are plans to improve the skills of project managers, craftsmen and contractors in techniques for limiting the risk of overheating in buildings, as well as a "Summer Thermal Comfort in Renovation" training course.

--> Action 3-1 - Develop and expand practical training courses to acquire the specific skills needed to carry out high-performance work (DPE levels A and B).

  • Continue the ACTIMMO programme to bring the property value chain into the energy renovation market. 

--> Action 3-3 - Raise the skills of property professionals in the area of Ecological Transition: banks, estate agents, notaries, brokers, property managers, etc.

  • Definition of training content to encourage the transition from new build to renovation. 

--> Action 3-5 - Help those specialising in construction to make the transition to renovation: share feedback from companies as part of a Réno Tour and prepare for the retraining of professionals.

--> Complementary action : To complement the observatory proposed by the region, a map of existing training courses will be drawn up, in order to better manage the training on offer and the various action plans to support the sector. 

  • --> Action 2-6 - Objectivise the benefits of long-term career support through a large-scale socio-economic study.


In the 3 regions (Cambrésis, Cotentin, Aix-Marseille)
  • Training for professionals, including project managers, based on "Work Integrated Training" (WIT), which links the commissioning of construction and energy renovation work, with training aimed at co-activity via mobile or fixed platforms. 

--> Action 3-1 - Develop and expand practical training courses to acquire the specific skills needed to carry out energy-efficient work (DPE levels A and B).

  • Development of the "training clause" with project owners by identifying a willing project owner and a worksite suitable for training. 

--> Action 3-2 - Encourage companies to upgrade their skills to carry out efficient renovations via training clauses or professional networks.
